Theodore Boone: The Accused

The book I chose to read was Theodore Boone: The Accused. This book is the third book in a series written by John Grisham. I cj]hose this book because I had already read the first two books. The Theodore Boone series was the first books that I read that were written by John Grisham. These books are legal adventures.
In this book Theodore Boone or Theo is accused of  a crime that he did not commit. No matter what Theo does, he cannot convince the police of his innocence. The police have more than enough evidence against Theo. Not only is he being harassed by the police, but he is also being followed. Someone broke into Theo's locker, stole his stuff, and slashed his bike tires three times. After the police questioned Theo, someone took a picture of him walking out of the police station and posted it all over the internet. To make matters worse it had lies all over it saying that Theo was going to go to court and possible even jail. While in all this trouble Theo confides in his Uncle Ike. All they, Theo and Ike, have to do is find out who is angry enough to frame Theo before the police decide to charge him.
One thing I liked about this book was how Ike and Theo work together to find the real criminals. I also liked how Theo knew when to step in and help his friend who was standing up for him, even if it ment breaking the school rules. One thing I did not like was how Theo was framed. He is a great kid. He is good in school and both of his parents are lawyers. This book would be appropriate for people ages 10 to 14 who like adventures, some law, and a crime to be solved.
