Everest: The Summit

The book i read was Everest: The Summit. The author of the book is Gordon Korman. The genera of this book is realistic fiction. I mainly choose this book because it was a easy read and because it was the next book in the series.
At the start of Everest: The Summit team SummitQuest starts climbing the mountain. Although they think they are prepared they have another thing coming. While climbing the mountain they are starting to run low on supplies. The conditions as they are going up the mountain are getting more terrifying as they continue. It is starting to get very cold and icy. Then one of the team members turns on off of his team and is trying to sabotage there climb. When they think they have gone through the worst they are hit with a storm. They eventually make it to the top and start to climb their was back down the mountain, scared. During this climb they lost a team member. They were all devastated, even though he was sending secret letters to the tabloid. His name was Tilt...
There were somethings that i liked about this book(series) and some things that i didn't like. One thing that i did not like was that someone ended up dying. Another is that they ended the series for now here. One thing i did like about the book was that it was a very short read(152pages). Another thing that i liked was how it was suspenseful like the first book. I would recommend this book to a friend. The age group is 10+.
